The year 2018 is all about these Chinese companies pushing the screen boundaries to a nearly bezel-less experience. The ZTE Nubia X is the best implementation of the Bezelless screen that exists in the market right now.

With a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio on the LCD panel on Nubia X has no competition in the market. Note that this is not an OLED panel, but the screen looks Gorgeous. Also, this display measures 6.26-inch diagonally with an FHD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) resolution and a tall 9:9 aspect ratio.

Interesting, there exists a second display on the back panel of the handset. This is an OLED screen, and stretches to 5.1 and has the same 19:9 aspect ratio but lower HD+ resolution.

Speaking of the rest of the specifications on the ZTE Nubia X, we’ve got a flagship-grade Snapdragon 845 chipset. For storage, the Nubia X comes along with 6GB/8GB of RAM paired with 64/256GB and 64GB of internal storage.

For the optics on the Nubia X, we’ve got a dual camera setup on the back. While the primary camera on the handset is a 16MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, the secondary camera gets a 24MP unit with a brighter f/1.7 lens. Well, we’ve got no selfie cameras on the Nubia X, and this comes down to the second screen on this handset. Well, this second aids you to take selfies with the same dual camera setup on the back. Also, the cameras come along with features like AI scene detection and PDAF phase detection autofocus.

Rest, the Nubia X packs a whopping 3,800 mAh battery, that may last you for a complete one day. The Nubia X comes with Android Oreo 8.1 with nubia’s UI 6.0.2 on top of it, and this is the only let down on this handset as far.

An interesting feature on the Nubia X is that now it has two fingerprint scanners instead of one. While both of these fingerprint readers rests on either side of the handset, you can use either one of the two to unlock your screen. The scanners also double as navigation buttons, and there’s no 3.5mm audio jack.

The ZTE Nubia X is available in three different configurations. While the base variant of the Nubia X with 6GB/64GB version costs CNY 3,299 ($473), the one with 8GB/128GB configuration sets you back at CNY 3,699 ($530). Also, we’ve got the third variant with 8GB/256GB configuration, and it will set you back at CNY 4,199 ($602). Note that the handset is available in Deep Gray, Black Gold, and Sea Light Blue colors, and the Sea Light Blue color adds CNY 100 to regular price. The Nubia X will go on sales starting November 5.
