After all sort of troubles, ZTE is back in the smartphones game with the dual-screen nubia X. The smartphone got official last month, and it was available in either 64 GB or 256 GB of internal configuration. Now, sources from China reveals that there will be a third variant now, and the company will call it Starry Night edition. The handset will debut soon with 512 GB of internal storage.
The Starry Night edition of the Nubia X has got everything identical to the standard version of the handset, except for the upgraded storage. With a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio on the LCD panel on Nubia X has no competition in the market. Note that this is not an OLED panel, but the screen looks Gorgeous. Also, this display measures 6.26-inch diagonally with an FHD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) resolution and a tall 9:9 aspect ratio. There is only one camera setup – the back panel has 16 MP + 24 MP snappers and dual LED flash.
Interestingly, the Nubia X features two fingerprints sensors instead of one. You can find them on either side of the aluminum frame. Rest, the Nubia X packs a whopping 3,800 mAh battery, that may last you for a complete one day. The Nubia X comes with Android Oreo 8.1 with nubia’s UI 6.0.2 on top of it, and this is the only let down on this handset as far.
Above all, the new 8/512 GB option is the staggering CNY5,299, or about $770. The company is asking quite a lot in comparison to the standard 256 GB variant with an asking price of CNY4,199 (about $600). Well, the hike in price goes to the fancy moniker nubia X Starry Night.
The handset is now available for pre-orders, and the shipments will embark on December 24. You can purchase one from all major online and offline retailers, including JD.com, Suning and TMall.
