Asus is working on its all-new Zenfone 6, and just like the Zenfone 5z, it will go official at MWC. The Asus Zenfone 6 will arrive with snapdragon 8150 chipset, with a price tag as low as $400. At first glance, the smartphone seems to follow the current 2018 trends like the dual cameras, gradient colors, a notch, and massive storage. Well, the new teaser brings something unique in the notch trend on the market.
The new notch design on the Asus Zenfone 6 will go for a waterdrop notch on the right side and not on the center, according to early prototype units. The smartphone seems to be a fake handset in images. But, there is a video sample that proves this design to be in existence. The design of the notch on the Zenfone 6 looks really odd at first glance. But, interestingly, the smartphone looks pretty slim. All the other things like the top bezel, USB-C, 3.5 mm audio jack, and bottom speakers are in-line with the rest of the flagships.
Reports say that the dual cameras on the back of the handset will support PDAF sensor. Also, the fingerprint reader on the handset exists, and Face Unlock will be another method of unlocking the handset. Sadly, the device will not house any-sort of 3D facial scanning technology.
