Of Late, the YouTube Music application is getting a new ability to use the equalizer settings right from within the app. To use this new functionality, you need to update the YouTube Music application to Version 2.59.
Once you are on the new version, you can navigate through a new menu in the app’s Settings right below the Streaming Quality option. Interestingly, the new interface feels identical to the equalizer found in the Google Play Music app. Well, that’s not a bad thing, and YouTub lets you choose from12 presets. Also, you can customize five range sliders and fine-tune a bass boost or surround sound effect.
For now, we’ve not got an update notification either iOS or Android despite having Google Music / YouTube Premium subscription. But, it seems like the update is rolling out in phases. Users are reportedly discussing the update arriving at their individual end.
