The Xiaomi Mi 9 will not be a head turner. Instead, it will be a conventional Android phone that strives to kill its competition with its simplicity. Don’t get me wrong on this! The phone will be flagship powerhouse without any “X” factor to it. With the courtesy of Slashleaks, we have got our first look at the boxing. Also, the front of the phone details some of the phone, itself.

Anyways, the photographs show the front box of the phone with rear and the front portion of Mi 9 itself. Instead of the Black box packaging on the Mi 8, the latest iteration of the Xiaomi will supersede with a conventional white Box. Well, the overall, simplicity of the packaging will enhance the Premium of the phone. Anyways, the Box illustrates a Number 9 with Mi branding on the upper right corner of the box.
The Mi 9 itself shows a Triple camera setup on the rear of the phone. We expect Xiaomi to bring the 48MP Sony sensor ith Quad-Bayer. The back of the phone tapers to meet the edges on the Aluminum frame. And, there’s an LED flash below the vertical cameras arrangement.

The Front panel of the Mi 9 shows a teardrop notch that is better than the massive one on the Mi 8. Well, that means we no longer have 3D facial recognition. To compensate the sticker on the top of the AMOLED screen shows an in-display fingerprint reader. At this point we doubt the scanner to be an ultrasonic one, but we will know that in three days.
The phone will run on the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC. It will be among the first phones in the market to get the latest SoC. The latest from Qualcomm is coming with 7nm manufacturing, and it will compete with Kirin 980 and Exynos 9820 in performance. Other than that, the box confirms a 20W charging on the packaging. While that’s not the best in the market, it’s still good to see the companies improving on their charging mechanism.
