While the affordable Y93 smartphone from the company is new, a tad more expensive version called vivo Y95 is now official. Everything in the smartphone is the same as the vivo Y93. But, this new handset comes along with a rear fingerprint scanner.
Speaking of the specification on the vivo Y95, it has a massive 6.22” screen with a tiny waterdrop notch. The resolution on the Halo FullView Display is HD+ ( 720 x 1520 pixel resolution ) along with a19:9 ratio.
The heart of the vivo Y95 is the same Snapdragon 439 that we’ve seen on the vivo Y93. The chipset comes along with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Also, you can expand the storage via microSD cards. Sadly, there is still no Android Pie to be seen, but the handset runs on Android Oreo with Funtouch OS on top of it.
The dual camera setup on the rear of the smartphone carries a13 MP + 2 MP camera combination. For selfies, the vivo Y95 has a 20 MP front-facing camera. The company is advertising various AI-enhanced features including a Night Mode and face unlock. Also, the battery is the same big power cell with 4,030 mAh capacity.
The smartphone is available in Starry Black and Aurora Red gradient colors, and it will set you back at PHP 13,999 ($263) in the Philippines. The handset will soon launch in the Global markets.
