Vivo made the vivo Y81 official a few months ago. The smartphone was similar to the Y83. But, it didn’t have a fingerprint scanner and also the chipset was toned-down. Now, we’ve got a third iteration of the Y83. And, this one is the cheapest of all. With that said, vivo will soon announce e vivo Y81i officially in Malaysia with a more affordable price.

Now, the vivo Y81i is a dual sim smartphone. The handset bears a massive 6.22-inches HD+ display with a notch. And, that means there is a taller 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under-the-hood there is a MediaTek MT6761 chipset. And, that is a toned-down version of the already unimpressive MT6762 Helio P22 platform. The smartphone had 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. And, to keep all these things running there is a 3,460 mAH battery.
For optics, the smartphone has a single 13MP camera on the rear. And, we’ve got a 5MP selfie shooter. Both, the cameras have the same f/2.2 aperture.
Further, just like the bike on Samsung smartphones, the vivo Y81i comes with a similar Motorbike Mode. And, this feature will allow you to handle incoming calls in a safer way while driving. Well, the smartphone will effectively hang up and send a text message as a reply. Also, you can choose the phone numbers that you want to bypass this restriction.
Lastly, you can buy the smartphone for MYR599 or about $145/€125 in either Black or Red color. Also, the buyers will get the device with free shipping, earphones, and other freebies.
