The vivo NEX Dual Display Edition is now official. As the name suggests, the handset will feature two displays – one on the front and the other on the rear. The smartphone is a pure piece of innovation in every aspect of its specifications.
vivo NEX Dual Display Edition Specifications…
The elegant things on the smartphone start with a whopping 6.39-inch diagonal Super AMOLED panel on the front. The display has a 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and an extra tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The company claims that the AMOLED panel covers 91.63% of the phone’s front of the handset.
On the flip side, the handset bears another Super AMOLED display with standing at 5.49″ and adopts the old-school 1080 x 1920 resolution with standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
Switching between the two displays on the handset requires no mechanics. Moreover, it needs a three-finger swipe on the active screen to activate the opposite side. We expect the primary display on the smartphone to bear a screen sound casting tech.
Speaking of the internal hardware of the handset, there exists a Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 10GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage.
vivo NEX Dual Display Edition Optics…
The smartphone has no camera setup at its front, and also the selfie-shooter is missing. I mean! The front the panel looks honestly clean, while the rear of the handset houses three sensors. Rest, the secondary camera is a 2MP sensor with a f/1.8 aperture for depth sensing along with a 3D TOF (time of flight) camera for the face unlock. While the secondary screen unlocks with the 3D unlock, the front of the smartphone unlocks with an in-display fingerprint reader. Also, the 3D TOF sensor offers features like personal beautification, 3D modeling of the user’s face, etc.
According to vivo, plenty of AI beautification modes are present in the camera UI of the smartphone. Rest, the handset bears a whopping 3,500 mAh battery and also supports fast charging at 10V/2.25A.
