Of late, Sharp has announced its Aquos Zero for its first international market as it goes on sale in Taiwan. The handset weighs at 146g, and the company claims it to be the lightest 6-inch smartphone in the market.
The internals on the Sharp Aquos Zero is top-notch from the 2018 flagship standards. The handset runs on the beefy Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 6/128GB of internal configuration. But that’s not all! The Sharp Aquos Zero has a 6.2-inch curved OLED screen by Sharp with QHD+ resolution (1,440 x 2,992 px). The display is rich in colors, and it gives a healthy competition to the Samsung AMOLED’s. Anyways, the smartphone gets Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Sharp Aquos Zero runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Above all, there exists a 3,130 mAh of battery, and the handset gets an IP68-certification against dust and water. The reason for the thin and light body on the smartphone is the magnesium alloy and the aramid fiber.
The optics on the Sharp Aquos Zero are excellent, as well. The handset features a single camera on the rear with 22.6MP resolution and f/1.9 lens, while the front snapper does 8MP stills.
The Sharp Aquos Zero is available in Meteorite Black color and it costs TWD 19,990 ($648). In case you order the handset before the end of February, you will receive a free Bluetooth headset with it.
