Samsung Gear Sports sequel arrives on the internet with the courtesy of @OnLeaks. The renders are unofficial and show the CAD images of the gadget. The renders show a rounder design that feels smoother at first looks. The company has codenamed the gizmo as Pulse.
Looking at the dimensions on the watch, it seems like the true successor to the Galaxy Watch 3. The Galaxy watch feels squarish, and the design is not a departure from the Gear S3. The two plungers in the renders show to be round in shape, instead of being rectangular. The watch will arrive in Black, Silver, Green and Pink Gold color.
The round bezels on the watch are unquestionably small, and the screen still measures 1.2″. It seems like the smartwatch will go with the bezel-less trend, but we doubt Samsung will drop the rotating bezels on the Gear.
The “Pulse” code name on the upcoming Gear Sport from Samsung further confirms that the company will bring ECG to the watch. Well, it will compete directly with Apple and Withings. It is possible for Samsung to launch the new iteration of its smartwatch at Samsung’s Unpacked event for the Galaxy S10, or a few days later at MWC.
The “Pulse” code name for the new Gear Sport is perhaps a hint that Samsung will add ECG, after Apple and Withings. Chances are that the watch will be unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event for the Galaxy S10 or a few days later at the MWC.
