Samsung Galaxy S10 will feature swipe gesture from the selfie camera

Samsung Galaxy A8s is the first smartphone from the company with an Infinity-O display. The solution is better than a massive notch on the front. The only downside is that the Galaxy A8s loads an LCD panel, rather than an AMOLED one. We expect the same solution to become global with Galaxy S10, but this time with an AMOLED solution.

Reports say you can kickstart the selfie camera on the phone by simply swiping from the actual shooter towards the center of the device. The feature will make its way to the Galaxy S10 as well. Above all, we expect the Samsung Galaxy S10 to emit sound directly from its display panel. The South Korean giant plans to unveil its “Sound on Display” (SoD) OLED panels at CES 2019.

The leaks are in line with the early rumors from a leakster, @iceuniverse on Twitter. You can see a circular glow around the hole when the camera is on and is recognizing a face, and probably more scenes will be available.

The camera sensor on the Galaxy A8s is a 24MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. For now, we don’t know that Samsung will use a similar selfie camera setup or no. For now, stay wired with us to stay tuned about the latest updates on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10.
