The Samsung Galaxy S10+ screen protectors make us believe that it is an entirely new design over the last generation. Leaked screen protectors of the handset reveal a dual selfie camera on the front in the shape of a pill.
A famous tipster @IceUniverse provides some images of the screen protector on the Galaxy S10+ on its official Twitter handle. The tipster shares a handful of tweets, and it includes some render designs too. The screen protector shows two camera modules standing some distance apart. Also, there seems to prevail some dead space between the camera space.
Looking at these images, I don’t feel pleased, and to me, the unusable space above and to the right of the camera leaves a good chunk of the status bar unusable.
Additionally, we’ve got some concept renders of the handset, and it gives us a brief look at the device. The bezels around the handset appear to be slimmer than the S9 duo. Quoting an insider who has seen the upcoming flagship, the S10+ will look “quite amazing”.
Another concept image of the Galaxy S10+ shows the Galaxy S10 besides it. The non-plus model has a single selfie camera in a hole, which is less obtrusive.
Looking at the upcoming Android flagships, it seems that screens with a hole inside will be the new notch. What do you think about holes in a smartphone? Do let us know in the comments section below.
