We are close to the official announcement of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10. As we are getting closer, the rumor mills are heating up even more. We know that Samsung will bring the 5G version of the handset in the market. The handset requires custom models for different markets for each carrier to implement 5G. If you remember, the first wave of t LTE got started like that too.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G will head to Sprint in the summers. The carrier proudly announces this in a press release today. The company doesn’t reveal the exact name of the upcoming Samsung flagship. Sprint confirms that there will be a separate 5G smartphone from the company that will get official in the Summers.
The Sprint S10 will support the 4G LTE networks as well. The smartphone will run on Sprints 1.9 GHz spectrum (band 25) as well as its 800 MHz spectrum (band 26), and other LTE bands for roaming.
In the year 2019, we expect Sprint to launch its 5G networks in nine cities that include: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C.
