The year 2018 is all about the camera Wars in the world of smartphones. The LG V40 ThinQ has five cameras in total, the Galaxy A7 (2018) has three cameras at back, but now there is even more. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 will go up to four. And, here is a breakdown of the cameras on the Galaxy A9 (2018).
Now, the main camera on the Galaxy A9 will feature a 24MP camera with f/1.7 aperture. This camera sensor will allow the low-light shots by letting a plentiful of light inside the imaging sensor. Well, this seems to be the exact same camera from the Galaxy A7. Further, there is an ultra-wide camera with 120° field-of-view to capture more room in your shots. This is an 8MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. A third sensor available is a 5MP depth sensor for bokeh effects.
Lastly, there exist a new 10MP telephoto cameras with f/2.4 aperture. Now, this offers a 2x optical zoom. Now, we’ve never seen Samsung using a 10MP telephoto lens in smartphones. So, this may be a new sensor from the Samsung.
Samsung has a “4x” event today, and we think it’s pretty clear which phone is getting unveiled.
