Samsung had a 5G phone prototype at CES

Samsung 5G prototype was one of the exciting products driving the CES 2019. The smartphone was hidden behind the shuttered doors, but the company didn’t announce the commodity. Samsung didn’t promote the product which made it hard to spot in its glass enclosure at the end of the 5G hardware wall. With that said, a Business insider stumbled onto it, to share the news over the internet.

The smartphone was functional in as its aspects, but the demo mode on the smartphone makes it clear that it was a prototype. We expect that the handset had no 5G connections because the 5G coverage won’t enter Las Vegas until later in the year. The 5G smartphones will enter the market later this year too.

We assume that this is the same unit that Samsung showcased in Kore last month. It may be a unit from the same batch, but it has a corner notch for selfie camera.

Anyways, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S10 on February 20. We still don’t know that the company will announce the 5G version of the S10 or not. What do you think about the future of the 5G smartphone? Do let us know in the comments section below.
