Huawei’s newest flagship series, the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are on their way of getting official very soon. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is in leaks and news since last one month. But, today is the first time we’re seeing full renders of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. These new leaks are the courtesy of WinFuture who has given us our first glimpse of the actual smartphone.
Now, these renders show the smartphone in Blue, Black, and Twilight colors. The new Twilight colors look more like the Morpho Aurora color on the P20 Pro. All color options have black bezels, as per the industry standard these days.
All these renders are inline with a few previous rumors. According to renders, the new smartphone has an edge display and the squared triple cam setup. The lack of a fingerprint scanner on render, confirms the possibility of an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Besides, in comparison, the case renders for the non-Pro Mate 20 suggests a fingerprint scanner on the rear. The same square triple camera setup is still present on Mate 20. The regular Mate 20 will have a water-drop notch instead of a wide iPhone-like one.
Interestingly the new camera setup will drop the monochrome sensor. Instead, you will get a new wide-angle RGB sensor. So now, in addition to standard 5X zoom, you may also be able to switch between a standard and wide-angle camera.
Above all the Mate 20 Pro will be the first device from Huawei to support new HiSilicon Kirin 980 CPU. This is Huawei’s first CPU with the 7nm process and 60 billion transistors. Aside from that, there is also the possibility of a battery larger than 4,000 mAh.
All above this the real deal will be revealed on October 16 at Huawei’s launch event in London.
