Realme is the first company that will arrive with a smartphone running on Helio P70 chipset. Realme will launch this handset by the end of this month, and the company confirmed the news in a Twitter post last week. Now the handset is listed on Amazon and confirms the name- Realme U1.
The Realme U1 will be the first handset will Helio P70 SoC, and it will be Amazon Exclusive in India. Amazon is advertising the handset as “India’s Selfie Pro,” and it will be revealed on November 28.
We expect the handset to feature selfie camera from Oppo’s flagship Oppo R17 or the F series. We don’t know the actual specifications of the camera, but it should be a 25MP camera as per our speculations.
The MediaTek P70 chipset on the Realme U1 promises 10-30% boost in AI tasks and a 13% improvement on general tasks. The chipset is an octa-core SoC, and it comes along the with 12nm process. Also, the chipset will have support for a Mali-G72 GPU.
The Realme U1 will offer faster multi-frame noise reduction images and accurate AI detection from the Helio P70 SoC. The pictures on Amazon confirm that the handset will feature a waterdrop notch. Well, it will double up as a face scanner to unlock your handset.
Also, the company teases some of the numbers with the brand. Realme says that it is the first smartphone brand in the world to hit 1 million shipments within 5 months of brand launch. The company reached about a total of 3 million users within 6 months of separating from Oppo and being 4th in online share within just 30 days of launch.
