Realme confirms a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor on Realme 5 Pro

Just a day before Xiaomi’s Mi A3 official launch in India, Realme will release its all-new Realme 5 and 5 Pro. Early rumors suggested that the phone will come with a 64MP camera module. Besides, it will no more be the situation. Well, Realme will bring the new camera sensor to the second-generation Realme X instead.

The Quad camera array on the rear the Realme 5 and 5 Pro will be remarkable. Most importantly, the array will include; the ultrawide angle, super macro, regular, and portrait modules. The official release date of the phone is August 20, which is next Tuesday.

Besides, the Pro version will power a 48MP Sony IMX586 unit as the main sensor. With that said, the Realme 5 Pro will be the first phone in India with a Quad camera setup which includes a Quad Bayer sensor.
