Recently, we’ve got to see China joy 2018, in the month of August. It was an event where CEO’s held their official keynotes. A Razer official said, at the conference, that we can expect to see the Razer 2, in December. Until now, we had no information regarding the Razer 2, except for the release month.
Now, today we’ve got to see the benchmark’s of the handset, running a Snapdragon 845 chipset. These leaks contradict the previous reports from Chinese media claiming a Snapdragon 855 SoC. Neverthless, we’ve still got 8GB of RAM inside, to multi-task with apps without any hiccups.
To a surprise, the benchmarks on the handsets are low by a small margin, than other competitors have reached. Nevertheless, it is still an under-development handset, so reading too much on Geekbench would be a mistake. For now, the Razer 2 scores 2,026 single-core scores, and 8,234 multi-core scores.
The Geekbench also confirms that the Razer Phone 2 will run on Android OS 8.1 out of the box. The handset will see the Pie update after few months of the official announcement of the handset. The Razer Phone 2 expects to come with a virtual 7.1 surround sound and 120hz screen refresh rate. So, have you ever owned a Razer phone?
