Razer has made the Razer Phone 2 official today along with the Razer Wireless Charger with Chroma RGB lights. Well, the smartphone is well made and have the best LCD display in any smartphone right now in the market. The Razer Phone 2 is not a huge step up from the last generation. And, it brings some minor upgrades over its predecessor. Some of the highlights include the wireless-charging, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB RAM, QuickCharge 4.0+ support, and 4,000mAh battery.
Now, the company is also upgrading its dual camera with the new Sony sensors. And, also the back of the smartphone now has a glass design with Razer Chroma RGB logo. There is a wireless charging option, and the smartphone comes with the IP67 rating. Now, the front-firing speakers support Dolby Atmos, and a 24-bit USB Type-C DAC is present. Like its predecessor, the Razer Phone 2 comes with a true 120Hz display.
Razer Phone 2 price
The Razer Phone 2 price has been set at $799.99 (roughly Rs. 59,500) in the US. At this price, you can grab this smartphone with 8GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The storage is on this smartphone is not expandable via Micro-SD card slot. Now, there is also a 128GB variant with “rugged satin finish”, but for now, we have got the US pricing only. In comparison, the standard variant comes in a “classy mirror back” finish. Further, Pre-orders start today (October 11) at 12:01 am PST (12:31 pm IST), with shipping dates yet to be announced.
Razer Phone 2 specifications
The Razer Phone 2 is a single sim smartphone. The smartphone has a 5.72-inch IGZO LCD display with QHD (1440×2560 pixels) resolution. The smartphone shares the same 16:9 aspect ratio as its predecessor. The display is HDR10 compatible and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Further, the display comes with a 120Hz UltraMotion that promises 50% brighter screen with zero lag or stuttering.
The Razer Phone 2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC clocked up to 2.8GHz. The smartphone comes with a whopping 8GB of RAM and has the Vapor Chamber Cooling for keeping the temperature of the thermals low. The smartphone comes with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, and the storage is not expandable via a microSD card slot. The Razer Phone 2 packs a whopping 4,000 mAh battery. And, it has support for fast charging via the USB-C connector on the bottom of the device. Further, Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0+ support comes along with a fast Wireless Charging support.

The Razer Phone 2 comes with a dual camera setup on the rear. The primary camera is a 12MP wide-angle lens with f/1.75 aperture, and the pairing sensor is a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture. The Selfie shooter on this smartphone has to offer an 8MP camera with the same f/2.0 aperture. Further, the main camera supports PDAF and supports videos of up to 4K resolution.

For connectivity, the Razer Phone 2 include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS/ A- GPS integration to it. The Razer Phone 2 supports a USB Type-C port and has generation 2 capabilities to it. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 158.5×78.99×8.5mm. It comes with an IP67 rating for water resistance up to 1 meter.
