Today, Panasonic India has officially announced the Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro smartphones in India. Interestingly, both of these smartphones run on Helio P60 chipset and has some other decent specifications.
Further, the Eluga X1 and Eluga X1 Pro share the same body shell, but the latter comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Aside from the common chipset, both phones share the same 6.18” screen with Full HD+ resolution and a notch on top. Now, both of these smartphones come with a Gorilla Glass 3 at the front and the back. And, there is a stainless steel frame holding the glass on both the sides.
Both of these smartphones come with a dual camera setup on the rear. The Primary camera on these smartphones is a 16MP camera sensory. And, the secondary camera is a 5MP camera that offers depth effects. Further, the selfie-shooter on the front is a 16MP camera and has AI modes. For biometric, both of these smartphones offer a fingerprint scanner at the back. And, there also exists an IR Face Unlock support that uses 256 recognition points even in the dark.
Further, Panasonic is offering these smartphones with Android Oreo out of the box and offers a dual SIM support. Both of these smartphones come with a 3,000 mAh battery, with the wireless charging available for the Pro version only. The Phone weighs 195 grams, lacks 3.5 mm audio jack, and comes with a headphone jack adapter inside the retail box. The USB-C support on this smartphone doubles up as the audio port.
The Eluga X1 will be available across all major stores in India. And, it will come in two colors that include Silver and Dark Gray color. The Eluga X1 package comes with the Panasonic headphone, while the Pro version gets a wireless charger. The Eluga X1 costs INR22,990, and the Eluga X1 Pro costs INR26,990 in India.
