Further, this gadget has an LTE connectivity and sets you back at $349. Besides, this device cannot make calls on its own. With that said, the new Palm is an accessory and not a smartphone. Well, we need to pair it up with our smartphone. And, only then we will have it possible to send text messages or make calls. Now, this is possible through Verizon’s number share service, that helps in linking our phone number to Palm as well.

Further, the Palm is a 3.3-inch 720p display with 445ppl pixel density. Also, the smartphone has a 12 MP rear camera, coupled with an 8 MP selfie camera to take care of your selfies. Under the hood, the handset has the Snapdragon 435 chipset coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of non-expandable storage. Also, there is an 800 mAh battery that seems to be Okay for the screen size.

Now, for the biometrics, the Palm includes a facial recognition option, but it isn’t 3D and is not secure enough for mobile payments. There’s a Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides of the Palm, a speaker on the front, and a USB-C port that allows reversible charging. Rest, the Palm comes with IP68 dust and water resistance, a gesture control system, and Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Also, there’s no headphone jack or NFC.

The Palm will be available via Verizon. And, the shipments will begin starting from November. Also, you can buy the Palm on your existing plan by paying an extra $10 per month.
