Oppo is celebrating the fifth anniversary of ColorOS at a special event in Shenzhen. To celebrate the success, Oppo has announced the ColorOS 6.0. According to Oppo, the Color OS is available on more than 250 million devices in over 140 countries and regions.
Interestingly, the Color OS 6.0 is a mix of a white backdrop with light color gradients. I mean, the Color scheme on the OS is light and offers a refreshing appeal to the eyes. Oppo says the choice of white is meant to create an airy atmosphere.
Note that the Color OS 6.0 is heavy on AI and Oppo has designed it with bezeless phones in mind. Also, the all-new AI application quick freeze feature will analyze your app activity for 2 weeks to learn your habits. Though the official device list for the update is not available, it should work on old handsets with bezels as well.
The OS comes along with a new universal front – Oppo Sans. Oppo says that comes in with cooperation between Oppo and Chinese typeface firm Hanyi. ColorOS 6.0 has built-in machine learning that will freeze apps in the background, instead of closing them.
Note that the Color OS 6.0 will release in 2019. As the update arrives on Oppo smartphones, we will update you with the information.
