The OnePlus 6T gets its first scratch, burn a bend test just after a few minutes of the official announcement of the handset. We all know Zack, and he’s runs a youtube channel by the name JerryRigEverything. The best part of Zack is that while this person was at the event in New York, he disassembled the phone in front of a live audience.
Zack confirms in his durability test that the handset now supports the Gorilla Glass 6 on the front. Well, not even the Note 9 has it, and that costs you about over 900$ in the US. The handset manages to get minor scratches at a level 6. And, deeper grooves appear at level 7 of the Mohs’ scale. Well, if you are thinking about the fingerprint detection if the glass goes through major scratches, Zack clears those things for you. Well, according to Zack, the fingerprint scanner on the OnePlus 6T happens to work fine even after deeper grooves on the screen.
The Optic AMOLED panel on the handset handles the burn tests well. But, the frosted glass at the back of OnePlus 6T is a scratch magnet. Harder metal will leave permanent scratches, however, so you still need to be careful. You can watch the whole video from the link given above.
