The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has already got official in a few markets around the globe. Now, the handset will become available in India on December 15. The handset will set you back at INR 50,999 (~€625), and it will be the most expensive smartphone the company has ever produced. The smartphone will embark its sales exclusively through Amazon India and OnePlus’ own store.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is not just a fancy variant of the OnePlus 6T but it packs a lot more than that. The handset packs 10GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It also comes with OnePlus’ new 30W Warp charger in the retail box. Also, the box of the handset contains a papaya Orange braided cable. There exists a booklet with the history of both OnePlus and McLaren and the Speedmark, made from McLaren-designed F1 AA grade carbon fiber.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition looks visually appealing. The handset has a glossy back rear panel with a carbon fiber pattern underneath that shows up under direct light. And Oh Boy! The handset looks gorgeous, and sometimes it reminds us of the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition.
Additionally, you can observe the McLaren signature Papaya Orange accent color shining through the side and the bottom edges of the smartphone. The McLaren logo at the rear breaks light into a different color pattern
The rest of the specification remains the same as the regular OnePlus 6T. The handset packs a 6.41-inch 1080x2340px Optic AMOLED display, along with a dual 16MP f/1.7 camera on the rear and a16MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Of course, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner and a beefy SD 845 SoC.
