OnePlus 5/5T is now getting Android Pie Open Beta


OnePlus is always good at providing the latest updates to its customers. Today, a staff member from the OnePlus forums announced in a post that the Oxygen OS Open Beta for OnePlus 5/5T is now rolling out. The update brings Android Pie on the handset along with the new UI, Gestures 2.0, communication improvements, and more.

Additionally, the Android 9 Pie update on the last year’s flagships includes the Do Not Disturb mode. The new UI comes along with some improvements for emergency rescue. Also, it provides an ability to set up a specific SIM and specific contact or a group of contacts in a dual SIM mode.

The support for the parallel apps to run two accounts of a similar application on the handset is now get wider with Telegram, Discord, IMO, Uber, OLA. Also, the bug squashes the weather bugs on the handset and displays more suggestions when the Search is used.

Of course, this is an Open beta. Everyone can join in and report any bugs via the Feedback page in the OnePlus Community page.
