The Smartwatch is carved incredibly by Nubia in collaboration with Visionox. The front of the watch is a 4” flexible OLED screen. The screen is narrow and tall with an aspect ratio of 36:9 (960 x 192px resolution).
Under the hood, the Nubia Alpha packs a capable Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset with 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage. The watch runs on a custom OS from the company, and the motion gestures are a sweet welcome to the overall experience on this gadget. Nubia calls the gestures as AIM – Air Interaction Mechanics.
Interestingly, the smartwatch gets a massive 500mAh batter. And, it is capable of enduring for a day or two. That’s insanely cool for the current smartwatch standards.
That’s not all! There’s another specialty of Nubia alpha that comes with an eSIM version of this gadget. With that said, you can use the watch as a phone with voice calling and 4G LTE data connectivity. The non-LTE variant of this foldable smartwatch connects to your phone over Bluetooth and to the Internet over Wi-Fi.
In case you decide to use the watch as your only daily gadget, you have an option to take photographs as well. A 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture lets you take photographs on the watch. Even more, you can make video calls, that’s insane. Just rotate your wrist to point the camera the right way, there’s plenty of screen real estate to move the viewfinder and keep it in view.
One can not doubt the build and quality of this smart wearable. The company has done a great job by carving this watch out of stainless steel. The display is protected with heat resistance polyimide. Even more, there exists a Gold version with 18K gold. Both the versions are resistant to water.

The Nubia Alpha is a best and it carries all the fitness function inbuilt. A heart rate monitor and can track your sleep. The Bluetooth version of the nubia Alpha will be available in Black color. The gadget will go official in markets in April and it will cost €450/ The eSIM model will be €550, €650 if you want the Gold version. The China Unicom gets the watch first (in April), then Europe (in Q3) and North America (Q4).
