Nokia X7 is the most awaited smartphone from Nokia. Now, the smartphone has become official in China. And, later on, we’ll get to see this smartphone as Nokia 7.1 Plus for the global markets. Now, the smartphone shares a lot of its aesthetics from the Nokia 7.1. With that said, the smartphone shares the same notch design and has a Nokia branding on the bottom Chin of the display. Also, the smartphone comes with dual cameras on the rear with a circular fingerprint scanner at its bottom.

Nokia X7 price comes at relatively steep price than its counterparts. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model of the handset sets you back at CNY 1,699 ( nearly Rs 18,000 in India). Rest, we have two other models starting at CNY 1,999 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. And, the 6GB RAM/ 128GB inbuilt storage model will set you back at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 26,500). Well, at this price Nokia is offering this smartphone in Dark Blue, Night Red, Night Black, and Magic Night Silver color options in China.

Nokia X7 specifications

The Nokia X7 is a dual sim smartphone. The smartphone is built around a 6.18-inch PureDisplay with 1080 x 2280 Pixels resolution. The smartphone shares the same 18.7:9 aspect ratio as other Nokia smartphones and comes with a notch. The display is HDR10 compatible and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Further, the display has support for real-time HDR conversion to SDR videos. Also, the display comes with 86.5 percent screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D curved glass.

The Nokia X7 comes with a mid-range Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with either 4 or 6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, and the storage is expandable via a microSD card slot. The Nokia X7 packs a decent 3,500 mAh battery. And, it has support for fast charging via the USB-C connector on the bottom of the device. Further, it takes just 30 minutes to get a 50% charge on this smartphone. Also, Nokia provides an 18W fast charger inside the box. Lastly, the Nokia X7 has an Aluminum 6000 series shell with a glass at it’s back. But, there is no sign of wireless charging available on this handset.


The Nokia X7 comes with a dual camera setup on the rear. The primary camera is a 12MP shooter with a f/1.8 aperture and large 1.4-micron pixels with dual-pixel autofocus and OIS available. Well, the pairing camera is a 13-megapixel secondary camera sensor at the back with fixed focus.

The Selfie shooter on this smartphone has to offer a 20-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI enhancements, and fixed focus. Nokia has to offer their unique Bothie feature to utilize both front and rear cameras simultaneously.

Nokia X7 Connectivity

For connectivity, the handset includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPS/ A- GPS integration to it. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The phone measures 154.8×75.76×7.97 mm and weighs 178 grams.
