Today, HMD Global will possibly launch the Nokia 7.1 Plus at an event in New Delhi, India. So, just before the official announcement, we’ve got the Geekbench scores of this new Nokia smartphone. And, as usual, we’ve now got a few things to discuss the upcoming smartphone.
Now, the first thing to notice is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. We’ve seen the smartphone leaking with this chipset a lot of times, but the things will go official today. Well, the SD 710 is coupled with 4GB/6GB of ram, and we can get 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus will come with Android One Program. But still, the Geekbench shows us that the phone runs on older Android 8.1 Oreo. Now, this is disappointing when we know that HMD is already updating it’s older devices to the Android 9 Pie.
Rest, the Nokia 7.1 Plus will come with a 6.1-inch 1080×2246 display with a notch. There will be two storage variants namely- 64 or 128GB. And, the cameras will have the same arrangement as the ones on the Nokia 7.1. So, there will be a dual camera setup with a 12 MP + 13 MP Zeiss branded dual rear camera setup. For selfies, Nokia is providing a whopping a 20 MP selfie shooter, and a 3,400 mAh battery to power up the smartphone.
