Nokia is expanding its business in the US. Well, to expand the presence of Nokia Phones in the US, the company is making tie-ups with companies like the Verizon. So, don’t get us wrong as the company is already selling their unlocked units in the US. But, the contract based smartphones generally provides more value in the countries like the US.
Further, the company is launching a new version of Nokia 2.1 in the US. Now, this is a special Verizon version, and the company calls it Nokia 2.1V. And, the V here stands for Verizon. This special version of the 2.1 is built for the carrier known as Big Red.
So, looking at the images the only difference here is the Verizon logo on the back of the smartphone. It looks exactly the same in the grey/silver variants. And, the spec’s may also remain the same with the final showdown. So, we expect a Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM. And, there will be 8GB of internal storage. The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch 720p touchscreen, a 4,000 mAh battery. For optics, there exists an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. Lastly, the smartphone runs on a stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo.
