Google is having a real hard time, to prevent the Google Pixel 3 XL, from everyday leaks. These leaks don’t just include prototypes and CAD render, but a bunch of live working models. Google will launch the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL on, October 4, and we’ve already lost the excitement. Besides, we now have another Pixel 3XL leak and this time from an anonymous Taxi driver.
The pictures shared by the driver seems to be legit, and are in-line with other leaks. We’ve got the same ugly notch design and a significant chin at the bottom of the screen. It doesn’t show that Google has no solution to hide the chin, but they didn’t want to do so. The reason for this is, the front firing stereo speakers that take a lot of space at the bottom.
The rear panel of the handset shares a familiar design from the Pixel 2, with minor changes. Gone, is the rubber matt finish at the top of aluminum, and now we have the glossy glass panel painted in black. The left portion of the chassis is clean, whereas we’ve got the volume rocker and the power button at the right-hand side.
The new set of images highlights the dual camera setup hiding in the notch. There is something more to it than the standard facial recognition system. Reports suggest that the Pixel flagship will feature Super Selfies feature. The feature will utilize the improved Pixel Visual Core 2 chipset for more than just adjusting the lighting. Google will add different tones of retouching the image, to improve on the overall quality of the image captures from the Pixel 3.
