Google’s Pixel phones are going through some significant quality control issues ever since the original Pixel from 2016. From Heating issues to phones shipping in an endless bootloop, the Pixel smartphones seems to be an immature implementation at this point. Well, keeping the abnormalities apart, the company is working on its new mid-range Google Pixel 3 Lite.
We’be already heard about the smartphone from the codenames Sargo and Bonito. These codenames are a part of an APK teardown, and they are in-line with the naming scheme of Google. Now, if you don’t know these are the names of sea creatures. And, Google likes to name its smartphone on the name of sea-dwelling creatures.
Besides that, the new rumors come along with the hand on images of the Google Pixel 3 Lite from the website Rozteked. Interestingly, this is the same website that leaked the Google Pixel 3 XL a week before its launch.
The Google Pixel 3 Lite will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset along with Adreno 615 GPU inside. The only available variant will be the one with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Also, there exists a whopping 2,915 mAh of battery. The screen on this handset will be a 5.56-inch IPS LCD (2220×1080 px), and there will be no notch to hinder your experience. Rest, the handset will have a 12MP primary camera, and the selfie shooter will be an 8MP camera. The handset will run on Android pie out of the box.
Interestingly, the photos reveal a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the design will be identical to the Pixel 2 from the last year. The handset will come with a glossy frame, but it will make use of a plastic frame rather than an aluminum one. The lime green power button prevails.
We expect this new Google Pixel device to come along with the same camera as on the flagship models. If the camera remains same the handset can be a major selling point, and it can outdo the OnePlus 6T even with a slower processor.
