Microsoft may soon replace Edge with Chromium-based browser

Microsoft is quietly working to build a new web browser for its Windows 10 OS to replace Edge. According to inside information, the new browser will come as a part of the Chromium platform which is also the foundation of Google’s Chrome, Opera and Brave. Our reports say that the new browser has a code name Anaheim.

I feel aghast to hear such a decision! I mean Microsoft has put so much of time and money in developing EdgeHTML engine. We hope that the new Web-browser will turn out to be faster than the Edge.

We believe that open source engine like Chromium sounds pretty promising. With Satya Nadella, the company seems to move forward in the right direction, and we hope that Microsoft will do a complete justice with the Chromium engine.
