LG V40 ThinQ is a beautiful piece of hardware. The handset got official back in October, and it had five cameras in total. The V40 ThinQ is the fourth iteration of the LG V-series device from the Korean maker, and now the handset is heading towards the European markets. Today, the European markets get a certification for wireless charging on the V40. The certification reveals two monikers – LM-V405EB and LV-V405EBW. According to sources, this is indeed the variant for the Old Continent.
The LG V40 THinQ has a truly capable set of cameras on the back, and the Wireless Power Consortium has a photo accompanying the listing. It shows a working front panel that confirms it to be an LG V40.
Also, the company is developing a special firmware for the European markets. We’ve got the firmware details under the name LMV405EB-EUR-XX-NOV-30-2018+0. The V-series of smartphones from LG are quite capable, and it may bring back LG to game in the European markets. For now, the details on the price and availability are unknown. Price will be a real deciding factor, and we are waiting for the official announcement. Also, we hope the handset to come along with Android Pie.
