The CES 2019 is about to kick start in Barcelona next month. We know that Xiaomi, LG, and Samsung will take part as great players in the industry. Today, LG confirms its presence with a foldable smartphone at CES 2019.
The foldable smartphone from LG won’t be the same as the Galaxy F or the Huawei concept phone. The offering from LG will work like the ZTE Axon M, but it will have thinner bezels. The principal purpose is to make the smartphone look like the screen is merging in continuity. Well, that’s just an illusion, while there will exist negligible borders between the two screens. LG wants to keep the smartphone in the KRW1 million (less than $900) spectrum, instead of going for a KRW2 million phone (about $1,800).
The Korean sources add to the leaks by revealing that the new handset will accompany the touchless input. With that said, the touch screen will recognize hand gestures from 20 to 30 centimeters so that users can operate with the phone in all situations. Well, this new technology will arrive on the LG V series, LG G series, and the foldable smartphones series by the company.
