Lenovo is now teasing the Z5s smartphone on Weibo. To our surprise, the teaser reveals an unannounced Snapdragon SoC. Also, the smartphone will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The teaser reveals that the Lenovo Z5s will feature a Snapdragon 678 SoC. We have no official details on the chipset right now. But, we assume that Snapdragon 6150 is, in fact, the Snapdragon 678. If that is the case, the leaked Geekbench has a few details about this SoC on the Lenovo Z5s.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 may boast two powerful Kryo 365 Gold chips. Well, we can judge that by the single-core scores. Also, there will be six other power-efficient cores. The multi-core score on the chipset is close to the SD710 SoC.
Else, the poster confirms a large 6.3″ display on the handset. The display will incorporate a camera hole in the screen. The rear of the handset will feature a triple camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The handset will boast a decent 3,210 mAh battery.
The handset will debut on December 18, and we will get details on the pricing and availability of the handset in the event.
