Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5 phones are the latest additions to this Techtober. Now, both of these smartphones are made official launches by Lenovo in India, at an event in New Delhi on Tuesday. Well, unlike the 2018 smartphones with notch both of these handsets sport traditional no-notch displays. And, also there are significant bezels on the top and bottom edges. Further, the K9 comes with four cameras in total and has a UDB Type-C port. On the other hand, we’ve got to see the Lenovo A5 earlier in China. And, this smartphone has a whopping 4,000 mAh battery.
Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5 price and Availability in India
Lenovo K9 is one of the cheapest offerings from Lenovo. The smartphone has 3/32GB as the only available variant. And, this sets you back at Rs. 8,999 for the available Black and Blue color options. Further, the Lenovo A5 comes in two variant, where the 2/16GB variant costs RS 5,999. And, the 3/32GB variants will set you back at just RS. 6,999. Also, at this price, the smartphone is available in Black and Fine Gold color options. Both the phones will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.
Lenovo K9 specifications
The Lenovo K9 is a dual sim device. The smartphone is expandable via a Micro-SD card slot, but this is a hybrid solution with no triple card slot. The smartphone runs on ZUI on the top of Android Oreo, with no information about the Android 9 Pie updates for it. The Smartphone packs a massive 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D glass protection. Also, there is no notch to hinder your YouTube experience on this smartphone.
Well, the Lenovo K9 comes with a 2.0GHz MediaTek MT6762 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Also, there exists a 32Gigs of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB.
Now, for Optics the Lenovo K9 has a dual-camera setup on its back. Well, the primary camera is a 13MP sensor that pairs up with a secondary 5MP camera sensor. Now, the cheaper smartphone of the lot is the Lenovo A5. The smartphones pack a dual sim card support with the same hybrid solution. Also, the storage on this smartphone is expandable up to 256GB. And, it runs on ZUI 3.9 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. Further, the Lenovo A5 supports a small 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has no notch either, and the bezels on top and bottom are massive.
Under-the-hood the smartphone has a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC clocked at up to 1.5GHz. Also, the smartphone comes in two variants. And, this includes 2/16GB and 3/32GB variants respectively.
