Huawei is on a track to create the best portfolio of smartphones in all price categories. Now, today we’ve got some details for a mid-ranger from Huawei with the latest JKM-AL00 device. Besides, this is the new Huawei Y9 (2019), arriving on TENAA two weeks ago. Now we’ve got an official spec list of the smartphone on TENAA. Looking at the specs, it seems Huawei is aiming even more at the midrange market with another Kirin 710 smartphone.
According to the Specsheet, The Huawei Y9 (2019) will come with an octa-core Kirin 710 SoC coupled with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. The handset will be available in 64 GB/128 storage options with a microSD slot to expand the storage. The device will have a whopping 6.5” screen with a notch and Full HD+ resolution.
For the optics, we will see a dual camera setup, positioned vertically in the upper left corner. The primary camera on the smartphone will be a 20 MP sensor coupled with a 2MP secondary camera. This 2MP shooter will allow background blur and Portrait Mode effects on the smartphone. The selfie camera is 16 MP unit for wider and clearer selfie. Huawei Y9 (2019) will come with Android Oreo 8.1 out of the box, with EMUI 8.1 on top of it.
For dimensions, the smartphone measures 162.4 x 77.1 mm x 8 mm in size and weighs 173 grams. The smartphone will power a huge 3,900 mAh battery, with Huawei’s own fast charging capabilities.
