The Huawei’s October event is not just about the four new flagship smartphone. But, Huawei brings to us a brand new smartwatch called Huawei Watch GT. Well, the smartwatch looks promising with a great battery life. And, also provides all the activity tracking you’d need.
Now, just like Tizen OS on the Samsung smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT runs on its own platform. Moreover, the watch is built around Cortex-M4 chipset with low power and high power processors. The Huawei Watch GT offers a long 30 days of battery backup if you disable heart rate tracking and GPS. Also, you can get a battery life of 2 weeks if you use heart rate tracking and exercise for 1:30 hour per week. And, this also adds 22 hours of continuous GPS use, heart rate sensing and always on screen.
The design on the Huawei Watch GT goes for more classic watch look. The watch has a dual crown. And, it the watch shells out of 316L stainless steel with ceramic bezels. The smartwatch comes in both sports version and a stylish Classic one. Also, the smartwatches rates 5ATM water resistance. And, it packs a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454x454px resolution.
Lastly, there is an optical heart rate sensor on the bottom. The sensor is made of 6 LEDs. And, has the Huawei’s TruSeen 3.0 technology which promises to be more efficient in reading your heart rate and also learn it over time.
The Watch GT naturally packs GPS and track’s your daily activity and training in conjunction with Huawei’s Health Assistant app. Also, a built-in altimeter and step and sleep tracking will take care of your rest.
The Huawei Watch GT Sport will set you back at €199. And, the Watch GT Classic costs €249.
Huawei Band 3 Pro
Also, there is a Band 3 Pro, and it starts at €99 only. Now, the band has a curved 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a heart rate sensor and GPS. The Huawei Band 3 Pro offers 5ATM waterproofing and extensive fitness tracking.
