A prototype Huawei’s Nova 4 appears during Jackson Yee’s birthday party. The prototype confirms that Huawei will bring the first handset in the market with a screen hole. The leak confirms that the handset is ready for production in the Huawei plants.
Also, renders from Venya Geskin shows that the handset will look like P20 Pro from the rear. Rumors also suggest that it might be the Huawei P30. But, the smartphone is still away from its update cycle of one year.
Interestingly, the leaks are in line with the official teasers and early leaks.
Huawei even lives streamed a demo of a prototype device with such a screen hole, which served as the basis of this render. At that time, the company didn’t show the rear design of the handset.
Our reports say Huawei and Samsung will use identical displays that come from the company, BOE. Note that these displays come with LCD technology, and we expect that Samsung will be the first manufacturer to come with AMOLED displays with a hole.
