Huawei is set to launch ate 20 and Mate 20 Pro on October 16. But, the headphone jack mystery still exists. And, even with so many leaks, we are not clear about the real existence of 3.5mm headphone jack on the smartphones. But, we assume from the images that the regular Mate will have a headphone jack. And, the Mate Pro will not have it.
Further, these images show us clearly that the round hole on the left is clearly for the jack. We assume that the other hole on the right-hand side is for an IR blaster. Rest, the holes on the bottom are for the loudspeakers, USB-C, and mouthpiece respectively. The fingerprint scanner leas below the triple camera setup of this smartphone.
Also, @rquandt has got his hands on with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro cases and he confirms that the headphone jack doesn’t exist. Further, he confirms the availability of the IR blaster and a mic.
Above all the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will be the first devices from Huawei to support new HiSilicon Kirin 980 CPU. This is Huawei’s first CPU with the 7nm process and 60 billion transistors. The Mate 20 will come with a 6.53” LCD screen (1,080 x 2,244px) and a 4,000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Pro model will have a higher-res screen (1,440 x 3,120px), with a curved OLED and in-display fingerprint reader.
