Huawei Enjoy Max is a rebranded Honor 8X Max for some markets

Huawei announced the Honor 8X and the Honor 8X MAX last month, under its sub-brand Honor. Now, both of these smartphones have magnificent displays and big batteries. While the Honor 8X is already available in most of the markets, Honor is renaming the smartphone as Honor 8X MAX as Huawei Enjoy Max for markets other than China.

Now, today we’ve got to see some of the press images of the smartphone from Eve Blass. And, looking at the images, the Huawei Enjoy Max looks exactly like the Honor 8X Max. Now, you have a Huawei’s branding on the back of the smartphone.

Also, there is a fake leather-like stitching on the back. And, this imitates the leatherbacks on the Huawei P20 Pro. So, gone is the glass back of the Honor 8X and now we’ve got the leather-faux finish instead.

Rest, the specifications remains the same as the Honor 8X MAX. And, we will get to see either the Snapdragon 636 or Snapdragon 660 depending on the storage variant. Also, the smartphone has a 7.12-inch touchscreen with 1080×2240 resolution and a water drop notch. The smartphone will be available in 4/64GB configuration and 6/128GB configuration. Further, the cameras on the back will be a 16 MP + 2 MP dual camera system. And, for selfies, you have an 8 MP sensor.

The smartphone runs on whopping 5,000 mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Lastly, we’ve got an Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.2 on top.
