Huawei Enjoy 9 is official – lacks a fingerprint scanner


Huawei Enjoy 9 has just got official in China, and it’s a toned down version of the already available Enjoy 9 Plus in the Chinese markets. The handset is a cheap offering, and it lacks in fingerprint scanner to cut down the cost on this handset.

Speaking about the specifications on the Huawei Enjoy 9, the handset supports a large 6.26″ 720x1520px IPS LCD panel. Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 450 SoC, and the handset comes in two variants with either 3/32GB or 4/64GB of internal configuration.

The handset has no means of biometric authentication. The only option is the insecure face scanning on the handset. The optics on the Huawei Enjoy 9 includes a 13MP f/1.8 + 2MP f/2.4 depth-sensing dual camera and an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Rest, the handset comes in a choice of Black and three gradient Aurora colors – Blue, Red, and Purple. Also, there is a massive 4,000mAh battery, and the handset runs on EMUI 8.2 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.

The Huawei Enjoy 9 goes on sale in China on 12 of December.
