Honor is planning to introduce the Honor Magic 2 with almost 100% screen-to-body ratio. The CEO of Honor, George Zhao, confirmed the smartphone back at IFA 2018. The smartphone will have a sliding back panel. The panel will slide up to expose the camera modules both on the front and the back. The new handset will support up to 40W/Hr fast charging speeds. Now, a source in China reveals the first look of the actual SuperCharger from Huawei.
Today, we’ve got to see an exclusive photo of the Huawei SuperCharge device by some guys from a website named as Chongdiantou. We expect these new chargers to charge the Honor Magic 2 in virtually no time. Besides the 100-240V~50/60Hz input standards, the output standard is somewhat interesting. Huawei promises 10V at 4A, almost doubling its current 5V at 4.5A to achieve these SuperCharge capabilities.
Now, it is possible for Huawei to take these capabilities up to 5A. Huawei did not do that because charging at peak value is not reliable and it can create issues. The batteries that Huawei will pair up with this SuperCharger will not overheat and will age better than the regular batteries.
Honor Magic 2 is expected to launch in December 2018. Besides, we can this technology with the Huawei Mate 20 Porsche Edition, that may provide a better experience to its loyal customers.
