HTC U12 Life is now rumored to come with a Snapdragon 660 chipset


The HTC U12 Life is a budget android flagship from HTC. While it names to be a budget, we know HTC will make it a bit pricey. Well, this is the first HTC smartphone that powers a Snapdragon 660 SoC.

Besides that, we’ve got to see new benchmarks result about the upcoming HTC U12 Life. The benchmarks reveal the SD 660 SoC, along with 4Gigs of RAM. The handset will come along with Android 81 Oreo with HTC’s own custom Skin UI on top.

These leaks are different from the ones we’ve got to see earlier. The previous leaks suggest a Snapdragon 636 instead with other specifications remaining the same. The handset is also in rumors to support a 64Gigs of inbuilt storage.

As this is the Lite version of the HTC U12+, the design will remain more or less the same. We can see a whopping 6-inch 18:9 aspect screen without a notch.
The back of this smartphone will borrow cues from – Google Pixel, and the iPhone X. The HTC U12+ comes in with a dual camera setup. The dual camera is a combination of a 16MP + 5MP shooter, while the selfie camera is a 13MP sensor with LED Flashlight.
