HP Chromebook x360 11 G2 Education Edition and HP Chromebook 11 G7 Education Edition are the two new Chromebooks from the HP. These Chromebooks unveil along with MIL-STD-810G testing. Also, it features a spill-resistant keyboard that is the most crucial step to make a rugged laptop. The standards make us believe that these Chromebooks solves the real issues of being in the hands of schoolchildren.
HP Chromebook x360 11 G2 Education Edition
Anyways, the HP Chromebook x360 11 G2 Education Edition is the mightier of the two product. It features a decent 11” IPS touchscreen (1,366 x 768px) that has an option to rotate at 360°. With that said, the blooming ones can use the Chromebook i the tablet mode. The company wants the Chromebook to be productive, and hence it supports the Wacom EMR pen.
Under the hood, the Chromebook powers a dual-core Celeron N4000 or quad-core N4100 with 8GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage. The battery on the new Chromebook is the biggest Wow! With 11.5 hours of power autonomy, it is the best gizmo for the students. The device feels portable, and it is light at just 1.47kg (3.24lbs).
HP Chromebook 11 G7 EE
The HP Chromebook 11 G7 EE is the entry-level product with the same 11″ IPS panel, but with a few let-offs. The display offers 180° rotation to the maximum and is available in non-touch versions – IPS and SVA (a Samsung VA panel). To compensate, the non-touch alternatives supports a battery life of around 13 hours.
The commons in both the Chromebooks includes two USB-C pots (Gen 1, 5Gbps), one USB-A and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Plus an SD slot will allow for the transfer of data to compensate for the lack of old optical readers.
Pricing and Availability
For now, we have no words on pricing on these Chromebooks. Both these Chromebooks will embark its sales in April.
