Honor View 20 aka Honor V20 got official in China on Wednesday. Honor had already created a lot of hype about this handset, but now the complete spec sheet of the smartphone is available with us. The Honor V20 is ready to take on the Galaxy A8s in every aspect. The smartphone has an impartially capable camera setup, a beast Kirin 980 inside, and a Link Turbo technology. The smartphone will go official in the global markets after an event in Paris on January 22.
Honor V20 Price and Availability
The Honor V20 comes with a price tag that is quite comparable to the Galaxy A8s but features a lot more. At CNY 2,999, the company has to offer the smartphone in 6/128GB o internal configuration. The mightier variant with 8/128GB of internal configuration will set you back at CNY 3,499. The handset is available for pre-orders on Vmall, Tmall, Jingdong, and Sunning.com. You can get yourself one in Charm Blue, Red, and Midnight Black color options. There is another variant that comes in the 8/256GB variant. Honor names it the Moschino Edition, and it will cost around CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 40,600). The Honor V20 Moschino Edition will get Red and Blue color options, and the sales will embark on December 28 itself.
Honor V20 Design
The Honor V20 is officially the first available smartphone in the market with a hole-punch selfie camera. Unlike the massive hole on the Galaxy A8s, the one on the Honor V20 is 4.5mm in size. The rear of the smartphone supports a dual camera setup and a fingerprint reader as well. The glossy gradient finish on the rear tapers around the edges to provide a satisfactory grip.

Honor V20 is a cheap offering from the company, but the handset has more power than your current flagship from Samsung and OnePlus. The handset comes along with an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC. The performance on SoC is close to the A12 Bionic chip on the 2018 iPhones. The Honor V20 is a dual-SIM device, and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MagicUI 2.0.1 on top of it. Taking into account the capable Kirin 980 CPU inside the handset, it is considered plausible to have this feature on the Honor flagship.
