The RoadMap to Google’s products for 2019 is Massive – Says Nikkei

-

Google will bring a lot more phones in the year 2019. The company is already ramping up its production for mid-range Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite. Today, Taipei’s Nikkei reports Google’s product roadmap for this year.

The company will soon bring the non-premium Pixel phone to the markets. We expect the launch to come along with a new version of Android. Anyways, the phone will be cheaper than the $749 MSRP of the iPhone XR. With that said, it’s the right time for the company to make people aware of the capabilities of Google phones. Also, it will increase the market value of Pixel phones. We expect the non-flagship Pixel phones to cost between $500 to $650.

That’s not all, the company will bring all-new smart speaker products, to the markets. These new speakers will be the successors to the original Google Home. Also, the next-generation Google Home Mini is due, for release. Also, Google may bring a Pixel Watch to the market. We also expect some UI enhancements with next version of Wear OS from Google.

Interestingly, Google’s RoadMap mentions a web camera, as well. It may be a security camera from the company to pair with the Nest home. The company will also launch its premium flagship phones by the end of this year. One of these phones will carry a bezel-less design that we’ve been observing since the past year.

The release and availability of these devices still unknown to us. We’ll get a better idea in the future as we are heading towards Google’s annual I/O developer conference where the company talks about the future of Android and Google services. Well, the event may be the right time to know about these products. What do you think about this? Which product interests you the most? Do let us know in the comments section below.
