Google has made the Pixel 3/3 XL official today along with the new Google accessories. Well, these smartphones are well made and have the best camera smartphone right now in the market. The smartphones will be available in three different colors. And, this will include Clearly White, Just Black, and Not Pink color.
Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL price, release date
The Pixel 3/3 XL price has been set 799$ and 899$ respectively. At this price, you can grab this smartphone with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The storage is on this smartphone is not expandable via Micro-SD card slot. Now, there is also a 128GB variant, but for now, we have got the US pricing only. So, in the US, the Pixel 3 is available for €860 for the 64GB model and €960 for the 128GB one. On the other hand, the Pixel 3 XL is €960 and €1,060 respectively. For India, the Pixel 3 costs Rs 71,000 for 64GB variant and Rs 80,000 for the 128GB variant. The Pixel 3 XL costs at RS 83,000 and Rs 93,000 for the 64GB and the 128GB variant respectively. The two phones will be available in the US starting October 19 and Europe from November 2.

The Pixel 3 duo comes along with Android Pie out of the box. The rounded icons and the material design makes it the most appealing software ever put on a smartphone. The Pixel 3 is a single sim smartphone. Now, Under the hood, we’ve got a Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. And, the real clock speeds are downclocked from the real capabilities of the chipset. Well, this will make up for a slightly better battery life on this smartphone. The difference in the clock speeds is not big enough. And, we still have 2.5GHz for the big cores and 1.6GHz for the small ones.

Further, we can purchase a Pixel stand for $79 that is the new AI standard for the fast wireless charging. The new Pixel stand comes at 10W/hr rating and that will provide you with fast charging speeds. And, The stand also allows your Pixel 3 phone to work as a Google Home, like a photo frame and even a sunrise alarm.

Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL CAMERA Features
The Pixel 3 duo comes with a single camera setup on the rear. The primary camera is a 12.2MP image sensor (with 1.4µm pixels) and a f/1.8 lens. Besides that, the Selfie shooter on this smartphone has to offer a dual camera setup. Both of these sensors are the 8 MP cameras with one regular lens and another wide-angle camera lens. The regular camera has a standard f/1.8 aperture, and the secondary camera has a f/2.2 aperture. Further the wide-angle has 97° wide field of view, and the normal one is 75° wide.
Now speaking of the camera features there is the HDR+ now joins the new Top Shot mode. The Top shot features make the use of AI to analyze the best shot. And, you can choose the best shot manually if you don’t like the automatic one.
There’s also a Photobooth mode that will automatically take your photo when you smile or make a goofy face. This new feature will help you take the wide group selfies with your friends & family.
Further, as we’ve got just one camera so the smartphone lacks a digital zoom for photography. But, to compensate we’ve now got a new Super Res Zoom feature that enhances the details of a digitally zoomed image.
Rest, you can still make up with object tracking on Videos, you can still shoot 4k at 60fps and still no slow-mo available. Further, the EIS+OIS combination promises you one of the best camera stabilization. And, you can also shoot at 4K/30, but offers the best results at 1080p.
Lastly, there is a new Night Sight mode, but this is not enabled yet. As soon as you get a new software update, you’ll be able to use this feature. The AI used with this mode gives you far detailed low-light images than the iPhone XS. Also, you need not turn on your flash in super-low light images.
Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL Connectivity And Biometrics
For connectivity, the Pixel 3 XL include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac, a USB Type-C connector, and GPS/ A- GPS integration to it. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Also, Google is for the first time, including a pair of headphones into the retail box. And not just any headphones as these are the Pixel buds with a USB-Type C connector. The headphones come with Google Assistant integration. And, can handle voice commands, read out new messages, compose a reply, and can even do a real-time translation. Further, the new USB-Type C to 3.5mm converter operates on low voltages and provides seamless audio quality.
Lastly. for the biometrics, we’ve got a fourth generation fingerprint scanner. And, there are no signs of AI unlocking feature on this smartphone.
