The Google Pixel 3 Lite is finally happening, and this is the first budget Pixel smartphone from Google. Today, the smartphone gets a review of a pre-production unit on a YouTube channel. Well, this is not the first time that we are witnessing a Pixel smartphone before release.
The Google Pixel 3 Lite will go official this spring after Google I/O conference. The smartphone gets its name after the codename sargo, and follow similar design suite as its mighty variants. The difference is in the build of the phone. Google will replace the glass and metal design on the large variants with plastic for the Pixel Lite.
The Google Pixel 3 Lite will have no stereo speaker. There exist bottom-firing speakers, instead. Also, there is a single selfie-shooter camera on the front, instead of two. The mint color power button on the handset is brighter and there exists a 3.5mm audio jack at the top.
Talking about the camera the Pixel 3 Lite will not feature the autofocus-aiding sensor on the back. Rest, the camera is on par with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The video demonstrates some video and photo samples, and the results are the best that a midrange smartphone can produce. The main camera on the back has a 12MP sensor while the front one does 8MP stills. Battery capacity is 2,915 mAh.
The 5.56” IPS LCD panel on the Pixel 3 Lite has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,220px resolution (18.5:9), a departure from the AMOLED-only 3rd generation. Under the hood, the Pixel 3 lite runs on the Snapdragon 670 SoC along with 4/32 GB internal configuration.
